Project developed between 1993 and 1999. Digitisation of the photographic and documentary collection on prehistoric cave painting contained in the Almagro Basch Archive, a CSIC heritage site from the former Spanish Prehistory Institute. This collection is a reference corpus for researchers on Levantine Art.

Contribution to the DH:

Creation of an image bank and a database that constitutes an online digital analogue of the Almagro Basch archive. The database contains the oral cataloguing sheets, and allows access to the images and their documentary context. It includes an iconographic thesaurus and a georeferenced bibliographic repertoire that allows the selection of references according to the toponyms of the stations. The image bank has also been accessible via the IDEArq platform (see above) since 2016.
