The GLG at the ILC (CSIC) conducts research in various fields of Greek linguistics—phonetics, morphology, syntax, semantics, pragmatics, stylistics and stylometry, lexicography, etymology, and more—focusing on Ancient Greek (from its origins to the 6th century A.D.).

Contribution to the DH:

  • Development of a computer grammar editor (AristarchusX).
  • Creation of a treebank of the Herculaneum papyrus.
  • Methods for the exploitation of treebanks in syntax and style studies.
  • Several databases for the study of literary and documentary papyri.
  • Creation of literary text treebanks with two parallel versions: stratified scheme of dependencies and immediate constituents.
  • Callimachus, is a regest of Greek and Latin Papyri (and Coptic papyri containing Greek words).
