Way and mode in ancient Greek in private correspondence on papyrus (3rd century B.C. - 8th A.D.)
Contribution to the DH:
Diachronic study of the various resources and strategies for expressing the mode and modality in ancient Greek in the language registers that can be studied in the private letters of the Greek papyri dated between the 3rd century B.C. and the 8th century A.D. Work is based on texts extracted from the electronic corpus of the Duke Databank of Documentary Papyri (DDbDP), through the development of a specific analysis interface and other resources.
